Breakfast, inspired by Gourmet magazine, begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Morning Room. You may have breakfast at a time of your choice (between 8:30 and 9:30) and may choose a table for two or elect to sit with other guests at a table for four. When we have larger parties traveling together, we have a special Dining Room for breakfast.
Guests
sit down to juice, fresh seasonal fruit, and the homemade bread
of the day. A hot entrée follows the first course. We alternate
between a savory breakfast and a sweet breakfast. Savory breakfasts
may include baked eggs, a baked omelet, or a variety of frittatas.
Sweet breakfast offerings include such things as lemon ricotta
pancakes, one of the specials of our B&B;
baked
blueberry French toast (always with blueberries hand-picked just
a few miles away); orange pecan waffles. With each entrée we
serve a variety of meats; however, meat servings are optional
to accommodate vegetarian diets. Bon Appetit!
